The boys and I loaded up the car and headed to Kansas for Zach's birthday celebration. We were looking forward to a long weekend of fishing and playing. . . well, both my children are allergic to Kansas. . so we tried to have as much fun as we could. . with fevers and all. This was our first attempt at a road trip sans my mother in law. . and it went remarkably well! Here are some pics (sorry they suck. . Kim had the camera!)
